The New Canaan Holiday House Tour, hosted by the New Canaan Newcomers Club, is more than just a holiday spectacle; it's a heartwarming tradition that brings the community together and supports vital local organizations. Each home is exquisitely decorated by top interior designers. This is the STAR house. Designed in collaboration with Palomino Bazaar.

Our design demonstrates how festive decor can seamlessly integrate with a high-end, art-centric aesthetic. By utilizing the home's open architecture as a gallery, the installation features a curated selection of contemporary abstract paintings and sketches that anchor each room. These artistic focal points are echoed in the holiday elements—from the rich, gem-toned floral arrangements that mirror the canvases to the sophisticated glass and gold accents that complement the modern furniture silhouettes. This project perfectly illustrates my design philosophy: holiday decorations shouldn't overshadow a home’s soul, but rather enhance the "vintage and new" dialogue, creating a celebration that feels both seasonally grand and intentionally personal.
