“The 203 Project invites local designers to take the DCA from house to home...Uniquely focused on sustainability and community, The 203 Project will challenge designers to embrace existing floor plans, and layer new furniture along with reimagined and repurposed pieces to create sophisticated and communal spaces that will remain and leave a lasting impact on the community...” -Erin Noonan, Executive Director, Darien Community Association.

For this showhouse, I transformed a meeting room into a space that celebrates the intersection of sustainability and high-end design. My approach centered on "reimagining and repurposing," layering storied vintage furniture and antique accessories within a bold, contemporary framework. By balancing the room's traditional architectural features with modern textiles and curated art, I created a sophisticated communal space that feels both historic and current. This project serves as a testament to the idea that a thoughtfully executed mix of old and new doesn't just follow a trend—it creates a sense of personal history and timeless elegance.

This is the Drawing Room.
